About the Lodge

Power Mountain Lodge is the best place to stay if you want to experience mountain life Fernie-style! Right downtown, it’s convenient for your night and day escapades. We’ll pick you up from Fernie’s greyhound bus station (we don’t mind the three minute walk!) and get you settled in a dorm, private room or one of our large hotel-style rooms.

Our lovely Lodge staff can help you arrange activities, whether that’s helping you get your snow gear sorted and shuttled up to the mountain in winter or advising on the best fishing or biking spots in the summer…hey, they’ll be itching to get out there with you.

If you’re looking for some r ‘n’ r, no worries, the Lodge is set for you. We’ve got an outdoor pool and huge patio for when it hits 30 degrees in summer, the courtyard goes off!. We’ve got a hot tub for soaking the aches after a day on the mountain. Huge bright common areas, kitchen and games room all make it easy to meet fellow backpackers and sit round the fireplace talking about the day’s adventures.
